The BUILT HAMLET AND TECH TRAGEDY INUNDATION SOCIETY (BHATTI Society) regularly organizes various health awareness programs, including seminars, workshops, and community events, coinciding with international health days such as World Health Day, World Diabetes Day, World Thalassemia Day, World Kidney Day, World Stroke Day, etc. These initiatives aim to enhance public awareness regarding different diseases, their treatments, and preventive measures. Such programs serve as effective tools for educating society on various health issues, contributing significantly to our mission of fostering a healthy community.
Additionally, we conduct awareness seminars
in anticipation of potential epidemics such as Dengue, Measles, Malaria, or
extreme climatic events like heat waves and thunderstorms affecting the
country.
POLIO ERADICATION CAMPAIGN
The BHATTI Society, in collaboration with
Rotary International and the World Health Organization, actively participates
in the Polio Eradication Campaign. Our Chairman, Manzoor Ahmad Sabri, leads
efforts to counter negative propaganda surrounding the campaign and organizes
Polio Eradication and Awareness Seminars nationwide, engaging Islamic scholars,
educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and community centers.
Moreover, BHATTI Society offers Free Vaccination Facilities at our hospitals
and clinics.
THALASSEMIA AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
Concurrently with the Polio Eradication Campaign, we conduct Thalassemia Awareness Programs to educate communities about this genetic disorder and its prevention through premarital testing. Chairman Manzoor Ahmad Sabri actively advocates for Thalassemia awareness through various media platforms, emphasizing the importance of premarital screening. He also collaborates with religious scholars to promote screening initiatives and urges the Government of Pakistan to enact legislation mandating thalassemia screening before marriage, aligning with global practices.
The BHATTI Society, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, and income tax-exempt under the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, Section 2(36)(c), has been actively involved since 2019, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, and officially registered since 2023.
Awareness is paramount in the fight against diseases, and BHATTI Society is committed to spreading health awareness through its campaigns.
